  • COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS?

WHAT IS IS FEATURELESS RIFLE: For california legal builds, we strongly advise AGAINST a fixed magazine set up. Even those with optomized reloading can cause a catastrophic failure, and severly limits your abliltiy to operate an AR15 as intended.  Here are the rules on making a featureless rifle (in California). We have a limited amount of loaner AR15s we can provide for this class. Fetureless builds allow you to operate the AR 15 effeciently and as intended.

The AR15  MUST not have any of the following:

    Pistol grip (Fins ok)

    Thumbhole stock

    Telescoping/Adjustable/folding stock (pinned ok)

    Flash hider (muzzle brakes ok)

    Grenade or flare launcher

Forward pistol grip (angled grips ok)

A featureless rifle allows for the use of detachable magazines and lawfully owned standard-capacity magazines(30 rds).

An AR15 converted to 22lr may be in any configuration and does not have to comply with the Assault Weapons regulations for center fire rifles.

WHAT CALIBER OF AR15 IS ACCEPTABLE: All ar15 platform rifles with traditional controls are approved. Must be AR15 controls. We reccomend alternative ammo’s have traditionally sized mags for this class.
